Saugatuck Capital Company Announces Recapitalization of Power Plus

Stamford, CT – Saugatuck Capital Company is pleased to announce the recapitalization of Power Plus, Inc., located in Orange, California. Saugatuck provided growth equity to Power Plus in 2001 through Saugatuck Capital Company L.P. IV to fund an initial acquisition. Since its initial investment, Saugatuck has used its equity capital and sector expertise to complete an additional acquisition, diversify Power Plus’ product offering, and expand geographically. Proceeds from the recapitalization were used by the company to buy back Saugatuck’s equity ownership.

Power Plus is a leading supplier of temporary power, utility consulting & design and backup power services to a wide range of industries, including homebuilding, commercial construction, high tech, and manufacturing. Since Saugatuck’s investment, Power Plus has successfully expanded into the northern California and Phoenix, Arizona markets as well as diversified its product offerings to include generator maintenance and repair and cell tower remote power design and installation.
